The Reach
The bodyslam starts with the reach. When you feel your opponent's arm sliding in between your legs and pulling you in tight, you know you're going for a ride. I like the look on Alexi's face in this picture. He knows what's coming and it's not going to be fun. Or maybe he's enjoying that arm between his legs just a little too much. John Cena Speaks
There's no doubt that John Cena is a tough guy when it comes to wrestling. While he's known for his "Attitude Adjustment" signature move, he's not afraid to use a good bodyslam now and then, too. Check this link for a cool article at Maxim.com where Cena explains with his trademark frankness how to bodyslam and demoralize your foe.

The Slammee
There couldn't be a bodyslam without a guy getting slammed. And the best slams are where the slammee is just as muscled as the stud who slams him. The guy in yellow here (in the process of a humiliating lift) looks pretty well put together. He probably figured having a good body was all he needed to be a good wrestler, but now in the ring, he's finding out that muscles alone are not enough.

Why I Like The Bodyslam
Since I was a little kid watching pro-wrestling on TV, I have loved the bodyslam. What guy hasn't dreamed about having some muscle dude reach between his legs, lift him high in the air, parade him around the room, then dump him onto his back? Well, maybe not many guys have dreamed about it, but it is still a pretty cool thing to see. And executing a bodyslam on another wrestler is almost as fun as having it done to you. The strength, the power, the domination. You know who's boss after a bodyslam. (Note: action from www.ThundersArena.com - check them out!)
