The Boys of Winter

This week on ESPN I saw something about spring training starting up and how the baseball season and the "boys of summer" are just around the corner.  It reminded me of back in high school when during wrestling season we liked to call ourselves "The Boys of Winter" (the guys on the hockey team probably had a difference of opinion).  It still being February, it's much too soon to be thinking baseball, so this is a tribute to boys who like to wrestle, and in particular the dudes at Rock Hard Wrestling.  There's no stupid drama here, no glitzy outfits or fancy light shows.  It's just a bunch of athletic dudes who don't mind dishing out some pain (or even receiving it) in that great competition that is wrestling to prove who the better stud is.

Jason Kane

We saw Jason Kane a while ago in a wrestling match against golden boy Austin Cooper.  He didn't look too happy back then being scooped up and carried around like Cooper's bitch.  More recently Kane wrestled Aaron Travers in a match at Rock Hard Wrestling, and this time Kane gets the upper hand.  It looks like he now appreciates the beauty of the bodyslam as he scoops Travers up.  Feels pretty good being on the other end of the slam, eh Jason?

Austin Cooper

From reading this blog, you probably realize that I like seeing muscle dominate muscle. Rock Hard Wrestling usually offers a good dose of this in its wrestling matches, including in a recent tag team match that has Austin Cooper facing Jason Kane. Cooper has got the upper hand in the pictures here, and he looks pretty muscled up as he carries Kane around the ring. I've been on both ends of this, and being the lifter or liftee each has its merits. But Kane looks none too happy being Cooper's bitch. I guess not all muscle dudes can appreciate being dominated like I can.
