Dante's Back

Dante is my favorite wrestler at Muscleboy Wrestling, so I was excited when they brought him back for another match.  Now, put Dante in a singlet, and that's just a match I can't pass up!

In MBW's most recent catalogue, Dante faces perennial badboy Jesse Zane.  It starts off with Dante and Jesse hanging out in the wrestling room, wearing singlets with the shoulder straps down.  You know, just normal stuff guys like to do.  When challenged to a match, Dante claims he's not a very good wrestler and that he's not interested.  Um, hello!  You're standing on a wrestling mat wearing a wrestling singlet.  Of course you're going to wrestle!  It's no surprise that Jesse doesn't let Dante off so easy, and the expected wrestling ensues.  Jesse's got a tough streak in him, and he's pretty skilled as a wrestler.  But don't think Dante is just a prettyboy jobber.  Our hunky Latino makes Jesse suffer for long periods during this match.  As the combat grinds on, the singlets come off and the sweat pours down the two wrestlers' bodies.  After a while, Dante complains that he's too tired, but Jesse keeps on going.  Dante is the bigger wrestler, but perhaps his lack of stamina is the equalizer in this match.  Everyone knows that stamina marks the difference between just being a wrestler and being a champion wrestler.  Let's hope MBW helps Dante on his strength and conditioning, because in the next catalogue, I want to see Dante being a badass heel.

Next time, let's hope Dante gets to bodyslam some punk ass!

Big Bad Jesse Zane

Be sure to check out Muscleboy Wrestling, and you will be pleased to see that they released several new matches about a week ago.  But of course, I am behind the times while I still sort through some of their older productions, which leads me to this post about Jesse Zane.  Not long ago I explained that (for me at least) a big appeal about Muscleboy is how it gives smaller wrestlers a chance to be more than just jobbers in the ring.  Jesse Zane is a case in point.  The dude is only 5' 5" and 145 pounds, which screams jobber at most places, but when Muscleboy puts him in the ring against the 140 pound Logan Cross, you expect an even match.  Or at least on paper it looks like it should be even.  Here are some action shots from that match.  If I could, I would include some good pics of Logan in action, but when this match begins, it is all Jesse.  With bodyslams, powerslams, bearhugs, torture racks, back breakers, and more, Zane demonstrates the best of power wrestling.  He easily looks like a strapping 5' 10" and 180 pound stud as he tosses hapless Logan around in dominant heel-like fashion.  I love the action here precisely because little Zane proves to be a total alpha wrestler, which is what makes this match so fucking awesome.

Jesse Zane . . . Total Badass!

Blonds Have More Fun

The blond stud featured in today's blog is Austin Tyler.  He sports a pretty good physique on the wrestling mat at 5' 10" and 175 pounds.  The pics here come from a recent match of his at Muscleboy Wrestling against Jesse Zane.  The over the knee backbreaker is one of my favorite wrestling moves, and during this match Austin shows the best way to deliver it, which is by cracking your opponent over your knee, holding him there to stretch him out, then lifting him back up so you can crack his back all over again.  Austin looks totally alpha in punishing Jesse Zane here.  (And I have to say that Jesse doesn't look so bad himself splayed out over Austin's knee.)  Austin is what I like to call a circuit wrestler because he travels the circuit of wrestling companies.  Not only can you see him at Muscleboy, he also appears at UCW and Wrestler4Hire.  You can also find him on the indy wrestling circuit as Ace Austin.  What a life he leads, going around from place to place pounding on guys in the wrestling ring and on the mat.  I guess it's true what they say.  Blond muscleboys do have more fun!

Ethan Slade

Not long ago I did a post about Dante from Muscleboy Wrestling and his match against Ethan Slade.  As I noted in that last post, a lot can be said about Slade, so now I'm ready to add a few of my own words to the conversation.  The dude is 5' 7" and 145 pounds, not very big size, but you can see he's pretty cut.  Slade must be a popular wrestler for Muscleboy because he already appears in seven videos.  It looks like he's pretty popular with the other wrestlers, too.  Given his size, it's fairly easy for some other strong wrestler to toss him around.  And what wrestler doesn't like that?  Unfortunately I haven't seen the full matchess that these shots come from, but by the looks of them, Slade takes a beating often, and he takes it well.

In my prior post I commented about how the action at Muscleboy often moves beyond mere wrestling and into other things.  I guess if I were Slade and I got grabbed, carried, and slammed over and over like this, I'd be in the mood for some extracurricular activity too.

Nice!  Take me out back when you're done with me boys!

Backbreaker Sunday

The dudes at Rock Hard Wrestling, No Rules Wrestling, Thunders Arena, and other internet based wrestlers make wrestling look like a bunch of fun and games, all for our entertainment.  But truth be told, like the above pictures show, sometimes wrestling can be hard, backbreaking work (ha ha, get it?  backbreaking?).  But then other times, as we see below, it's just pure unadulterated fun.

Flavio

Sometimes it pays to waste a few hours in the afternoon just surfing the internet looking for cool wrestling pics.  I came across some action photos from a match at BG East between a stud wrestler named Flavio and his smaller opponent Jake Lowe (aka Jesse Zane).  The second and third photos are just spectacular and say much more than what I can put into words about why otk backbreakers are fucking awesome.  And to continue with my last post and its discussion about wrestling gear, the pink and blue underwear these dudes are sporting is the icing on the cake.  Wrestling at its purist form is just rolling around with your buddy in nothing but your underwear.  Anyway, this is Flavio at 5'10" and 180 pounds.  He's only wrestled in one match at BG East.  I wonder if they can entice him back onto the mat again.

Backbreakers

Sometimes there's no need to say much about the wrestling photos I post to my blog.  The action caught on camera just speaks for itself.  Each and every one of these pictures is a study in awesomeness.  I love the OTK backbreaker.
