Drake Krushed
Digging through my stash of wrestling pics I came across these which I don't think I have posted before. The featured wrestlers are Krush and Drake from No Rules Wrestling. Both are no longer wrestling for NRW, so this match must be from a few years ago at least. It's too bad these guys don't appear in matches anymore, especially Krush. The big guy often was on the receiving end of punishment in his matches against smaller guys, but there were some matches where he dominated. I don't know how this particular match ended, but there's something about these bodyslam pics here that makes the muscle dude look particularly dominating. Get back in the ring, Krush! We need more of this!

Feed the Beast
When we last saw Krush, he was taking lessons from Dave Calbrese on how to execute a bodyslam. Did Krush learn his lesson well? From the looks of his match against a dude named Brody, I'd say he did. This looks like a big versus little contest with Krush delivering a beat down. It's part of a series of matches called "Fresh Meat", and No Rules Wrestling uses the little guy Brody to feed the beast we know as Krush. I'm glad to see NRW is letting Krush show is heel side.

Krush's Education
In yesterday's blog Dave Calbrese offers to give Krush some bodyslam pointers at No Rules Wrestling. Both Calbrese and Krush practice on Brian Walters, but the many slams leave Walters comatose on the mat. Calbrese wonders aloud how they are going to practice their bodyslams now that their playtoy is immobile on the ground. Krush decides there's no time like the present to show the teacher what the student has learned, so he scoops Calbrese high up into the air. Krush asks, "Am I doing it right?" And a panicked Dave Calbrese shouts "You're not doing it right! You're not doing it right!" But I disagree. Krush has his arm nice and deep in Calbrese's crotch. He lifts his opponent high up into the air with Calbrese's legs dangling over his head. Krush holds Calbrese up like this for several seconds, then dumps him over for a powerful bodyslam. I'd say that Krush is doing it just right. Considering how Krush tosses Calbrese through the air, this video could be called Flight School rather than Fight School.

Fight School
No Rules Wrestling has a new video up called Fight School. I hope this is a new series. What they give us here is Dave Calbrese instructing Krush how to bodyslam. It looks like Calbrese walks in on a wrestling match between Krush and the douche bag Brian "Wall Street" Walters. Calbrese doesn't like the technique Krush is demonstrating as he scoops up and slams Walters, so he steps into the ring to give Krush some pointers. I've said it before that Dave Calbrese gives a good looking bodyslam. Let's hope Krush learns a few things from him.

The Krushinator
Check out No Rules Wrestling for some new matches featuring muscle man Krush in action. He's got a history at NRW of being the bigger guy who plays the jobber to smaller dudes, but in some of these newer matches he gets to be the heel. I like seeing bigger wrestlers like Krush dominate. Also, check out the gear. Wrestling in blue jeans and in under armour shorts. Very nice.

Wrestling With Yourself
I don't give a lot of attention to No Rules Wrestling, but there are some wrestlers there who I like. One is Dave Calbrese who I have featured several times in my blog. Another wrestler who has my interest is Krush, probably because he's a big, muscled up dude. I like to see muscle wrestlers dominate, but unfortunately for some reason NRW seems to like having Krush get crushed by smaller guys. There's one more guy of interest at NRW, and he's a masked muscle dude called The Widowmaker, and it looks like he generally leaves a trail of destruction when he enters the ring. Some time ago when I was studying the NRW website, I came to the conclusion that Krush and The Widowmaker are the same dudes (they both have massive pecs with an identical freckle on the left one). Even NRW admits that there are rumors that the two are one and the same, so they recently staged a match featuring Krush supposedly going up against The Widowmaker. Clearly this is not the same Widowmaker from the other matches. He's got muscles, but he looks smaller and paler. Perhaps enraged at seeing someone posing as his alter ego, Krush turns to a heel and takes the other dude apart, or at least that's what it looks like in the video preview. In the process of dominating, Krush picks up the imposter with a nice crotchlift and parades the dude around the ring before bringing him down for a spine snapping back breaker. This is the Krush I like to see, a total dominating bad ass. I hope NRW gives us more of this Krush in future matches.
Here's the official NRW photo of The Widowmaker. You decide:

Myth Buster
All of you probably have heard the trite saying "Bigger does not mean better." Bull shit. I hate to tell you boys, but bigger muscles, bigger bodies, these are always better, especially in the world of wrestling. Just ask everyone of these guys here.
