Summertime

It's summertime, and Mark Angel seems to be making the best of the warm weather by strutting around shirtless with a beer in each hand.  It's good to see that he's not "all work and no play", although I do appreciate is work.

Gorilla Press Glory

I know a lot of guys who follow this blog are fans of the gorilla press.  If you haven't come across it yet, you should check out this Youtube channel which has several compilations of the king of all pro wrestling moves.  These screen caps are just a few of the hundreds of gorilla presses you will see in these videos.  Many of the wrestlers will be well known to you, like Chris Masters in the second pic, Mark Angel in the third, and Mexxberg in the fourth, but the guy who has put these compilations together has gone far and wide to locate gorilla presses performed by wrestlers from even the most remote federations.  He's done the hard work, so all you have to do is just sit back and enjoy.  I think the last picture in the set above is my favorite.  It's hard to beat a muscleboy on muscleboy gorilla press.

Football Season

Hey, football season is now underway, and what better way to pay tribute than by posting some action pictures of Mark Angel, aka Mr. Touchdown, bodyslamming the shit out of his opponents.  I would post some pictures of Jay Cutler getting bodyslammed repeatedly during last night's game, but quite frankly, that was just too nauseating.  The lesson to be learned is don't shoot your mouth off if you can't back it up.

One of my favorite posts from last month is the one showing blond all-American jock Mark Angel wreaking havoc at Beyong Wrestling by gorilla pressing various opponents.  When he wrestles at Chikara Pro Mark Angel does so as Mr. Touchdown, and it's nice to see him gorilla press a hapless dude while wearing his football uniform.  The football player persona gives him a certain swagger, and it reminds me of high school where the jocks were in control.  Every once in a while you needed to exhibit your physical prowess just to keep the other dudes in line.  In the wrestling ring, the gorilla press serves the same purpose.

Anatomy of a Wrestler

These pictures are a nice find.  Stud wrestler Mark Angel ups his game by gorilla pressing opponents in recent matches at Beyond Wrestling, a promotion where he appears as part of a tag team called the Academy of Anatomy.  Anatomy indeed.  I normally like being the alpha male when wrestling, but I would not object to finding myself pressed over this guy's head.  If you prefer your wrestlers to be the blond All-American jock type, then Mark Angel is your man.  You like?

The blond dude in action here is Mark Angel.  Currently he appears for Chikara pro wrestling as Mr. Touchdown, where he wears his football pants while wrestling.  This gimic compliments his corn fed all-American jock looks.  It's a nice touch.  To see pictures from his modeling career, check out Bruno's blog.
