Muscle Guys

I came across this photo today. I'm not sure who the guy is doing the bodyslam, but I'm pretty sure the guy being slammed is Brad Rochelle. And I also think this is an action shot from a BG East match. I've been following BG East for the past couple of years, but haven't spent a lot of time checking out all their older matches, some which go back to the late 90s, I think. For me, these older matches probably are a gold mine of muscle guys bodyslamming each other. Add a comment if you can identify the muscle guy doing the slam here. And if you know of any good matches with Brad Rochelle and bodyslams, please share that, too.

Cody Nelson

Young wrestler Cody Nelson is branching out to other Internet wrestling productions, and he recently appeared in a match at Thunders Arena. But in the mean time, he is still kicking butt at Rock Hard Wrestling, where we see him above getting ready to bodyslam the crap out of a hapless Max Powers.

Zack Vazquez

Zack Vazquez is a male model who has been appearing in several wrestling videos over the past few years. Here he is dominating his muscular opponent with a powerslam in a wrestling match produced by Rock Hard Wrestling.

Scotty Mac

Scotty Mac is an indy pro wrestler who appears a lot on Cyber Fights videos. Compared to other pro wrestlers, he looks kind of small in stature, but he's powerfully built and doesn't back down in a match. It's especially fun to watch him scoop up a much bigger opponent and bodyslam him hard onto the ground.

High School Wrestling Action

Here's a good action shot of a high school wrestler from South Dakota hoisting his opponent up in the air a few years back. The photo made the cover of Wrestling USA magazine. Check this link for more information.

Shoulder Rack

OK, I know a shoulder rack isn't the same as a bodyslam, but it still is a pretty cool move. I had a buddy carry me around like this recently, and it was a lot of fun. The guy above is another one of those muscle guys on the Internet with his own website (www.steelmusclegod.com), raising money to support his bodybuilding career. I hope we see him do some good bodyslams, too.

Rio Garza

Rio Garza is a young wrestler for BG East. His wrestling matches usually are short on wrestling and long on Garza receiving a beating, but in a recent match he at least was able to get in a good bodyslam on Jonny Firestorm. It will be interesting to see if BG East lets Garza get more agressive in his matches in the future, of if he is destined to be nothing more than a whipping boy.
