Who's Next?

My last post mentioned that French stud (yes, that's not an oxymoron) Tristan Archer was making a move to pro wrestling in the United States.  We'll be glad to see him here, no doubt, but it made me think about who else from Europe I'd like to see.  It didn't take more than a few seconds for Austrian beast Mexxberg to come to mind.  He's definitely an accomplished wrestler with over six years of experience in the ring.  Mexxberg's resume is filled with titles, too, with championship belts from multiple European federations like New European Pro Wrestling, Power of Wrestling, European Wrestling Association, and Victory Pro Wrestling.  I think he's a natural up and coming talent that WWE would want to look at.

But you better make your move soon, Mexx.  You don't want to fall behind!

Coming to America

Yikes!  Sorry dudes for not posting much lately.  So here's a little something to keep you entertained.  It's our favorite French wrestler Tristan Archer.  Or is it?  After spending several years working the rings across the Atlantic, slamming hapless Euro trash opponents about, it looks like the French Revolution is coming to America where he will appear under the name Clement Petiot.  Well, the folks at WWE can call him whatever they want, but he'll always be Tristan Archer to me.  I like this dude because he projects a clean-cut, all around good-guy persona, but still isn't afraid to mix in a little bad boy attitude now and then.

Welcome to the USA, Tristan (or Clement)!  Let's hope we get to see a lot more of you in action now.

Ten Years of the Z Man

A while ago I mentioned in a post that "the Z Man" Zack Vazquez had been appearing in online wrestling matches for as long as I've been watching them.  Now for a little bit of a history lesson, Zack's first appearance ever in a wrestling match occurred for Thunders Arena, and that was ten years ago.  TA celebrate's Zack's tenth anniversary in the ring (and on the mat) by putting him in a match against Eagle.  Is this supposed to be an award for Zack or a punishment?  I guess that depends on your point of view.  The young corn-fed wrestler constantly reminds Zack throughout the match that he's an old man.  But if Zack is what an "old man" looks like, then I should stop worrying so much about the aging process.  As you can see from the pictures above, Eagle finds out that an old man can still be a formidable foe.  Thanks for a decade of dominating wrestling action Z Man!
