Muscle on Muscle

One great thing about wrestling is the muscle on muscle action. And not just from the fan point of view, but also for the wrestlers. Muscle jocks can be sort of arrogant and cocky, so it's a humbling experience when you get beaten by another dude on the wrestling mat. But when you beat another muscle dude, especially if you take him apart and put him on his back, it's an awesome feeling. Although there's a lot of muscle in amateur wrestling, it's hard to beat what you see in pro wrestling. This picture is amazing. The guy in the black trunks is ripped and could probably dominate 99.999 percent of all the guys out there. But here he finds himself in a humiliating situation, nothing more than a bitch for another guy who's got him by the family jewels and pressed overhead. The ripped stud in blue, though, is loving it, and why shouldn't he? Full of muscles and in complete control, he's the alpha male, the king of the world. After the match he'll be even more arrogant and cocky, and deservedly so.

Anyone know who these guys are?

(NOTE: Been told the guy in blue is Anthony Bravado, who has been on this blog before for showing off his muscles.)

Anthony Bravado

A bodybuilder by definition builds up his body. But when you turn a bodybuilder into a wrestler, this usually ends up in bodies being broken (by the bodybuilder, of course). I've always found a little irony in that. Not that I mind. In fact, I think it's awesome to see a dude who likes to put his muscles to use rather than just posing with them. One such bodybuilder/wrestler is Anthony Bravado, seen here gorilla pressing Chris Hero, which is no small task since Hero weighs over 220 pounds. Bravado is more than up for the task, though. I like the first photo where he let's you know what he's going to do to you once you step into the wrestling ring. Some might call that being cocky, and I suppose that's true. But some people have earned the right to be cocky, and that includes a wrestling bodybuilder like Bravado who can hoist muscle dudes up over his head with ease. (Special thanks to Jim from Chicago for sharing these awesome photos.)
