Meet the Press (part 2)

More of the best of wrestling . . . the overhead press!  That last pic is great with the look of fear.  Dude, wrestling is not for the faint of heart!  You better go find another profession.  But Kyle Stevens shows he's doing just what he's meant to be doing.

Jessie and Marcus

A long time ago, Jessie Godderz and Marcus Anthony were the original Dream Team at Ohio Valley Wrestling.  Well, we all know that the team didn't last, and Marcus Anthony went away for a while, and now upon his return to OVW, Marcus has paired up with Rob Terry to form a new Dream Team.  Yet it was inevitable that Marcus and Jessie should face each other in a wrestling match at OVW, which they did recently in a tag team event.  It doesn't look like a happy reunion, and Marcus Anthony in particular is taking things pretty hard as Jessie Godderz scoops him up for a bodyslam.  But don't spend much time worrying about Marcus Anthony.  He gets his mojo back later in the match by bodyslamming Jessie's tag team partner Rudy Switchblade.  And sometime soon maybe we'll get to see Marcus doing the same to Jessie.

Pink Rabbit

A wrestling match featuring Jessie Godderz and Rob Terry is always worth checking out, but . . . hmmm.  This isn't quite what I was expecting to see.  I'm not sure I really want to know what's going on here.

Jessie's Waterloo

Seeing Jessie Godderz in my last couple of posts makes me think of Ohio Valley Wrestling, and then OVW makes my thoughts turn to Rob Terry (not that it takes much to bring Rob Terry to mind).  Over a year ago I was revelling in the magnificience that was the tag team partnership of Rob Terry and Jessie Godderz.  Times have changed.  The two no longer are partners, and they often face each other in the ring.  If you haven't seen them yet, check out the photos posted by Bruno on his Beefcakes blog from a recent match between these two muscle goliaths (match photos by wrestling photographer extraordinaire Jim from Chicago).  The first photo above comes from that match.  Earlier this year I also featured some pictures from another match between the two, and the last three above come from yet a different match at Impact Wrestling, where Rob Terry treated his fans (and Jessie Godderz) to a gorilla press.  A common theme through these three matches is Rob Terry slamming the shit out of his former tag team partner.  Rob Terry pounding on Jessie Godderz.  I don't think I will ever get tired of seeing that.

In response to the popularity of my last post, here are some more photos of Jessie Godderz in action, doing what he does best -- the gorilla press.  I should feature Godderz more often.  He makes it easy.  His photos do most of the talking for me.

For the Fans

I've been getting a lot of email from fans lately asking for more posts on Jessie Godderz.  Ha ha!  Just kidding.  I don't get any emails from fans (except the occasional one, which I do appreciate).  But I'm confident the silent majority out there wants to see more of Jessie Godderz, so here he is performing in a recent match at Ohio Valley Wrestling.  His little opponent for this contest is a British dude known as Rockstar Spud.  Little Spud comes in at a mere 140, which means he's giving up 80 pounds to Jessie.  I bet he really felt the full effect of that weight disadvantage when Godderz powerslammed him.

March Madness

You don't have to be a mad or angry person to be a wrestler, but these emotions can come in handy when you're engaged in a combat sport.  Sometimes you have to call on these emotions in order to gain that extra strength you need to take control of your opponent and win the match.  I'm not so sure why Rob Terry looks so mad all the time when he's about to bodyslam another dude.  It's not like he doesn't have the muscles to crush almost any guy who steps in the ring with him.  I guess he's just mean.

Rob vs Jessie

Last year I noted what a great tag team Rob Terry and Jessie Godderz made at Ohio Valley Wrestling.  What could be better than a tag team featuring these two awesome muscle studs?  Well, how about a match where these two dudes face off against each other, like they did recently at TNA Wrestling.  You don't get to see the whole match, but it looks like Godderz takes a pretty big beating.  You ever wonder what it feels like to get bodyslammed by a 300 pound bodybuilder?  I think the second to the last picture gives us a pretty good idea.  We also now know what it takes to put a smile on Rob Terry's face.

Daily Grind

January is a tough month.  After six weeks of holidays with Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, it can be hard to go back to the daily grind of a job or school or whatever.  Even muscleboy Jessie Godderz looks like he's finding it difficult getting excited about being back at work.

The Crowd Pleaser

Time for one more post before summer comes to an end, so why not make it an easy one?  Here are some great pics of "Mr. Pectacular" Jessie Godderz in action.  There's not a lot I really need to say about this guy.  His body and his slams pretty much say it all.  There's no need to guess why he's a fan favorite.

The Belt

You put a belt on a wrestler and he thinks he's king of the world.  Jessie Godderz doesn't need a belt to look like a king in the wrestling ring.  All he has to do is just toss Tony Gunn around a bit with a nice bodyslam.  But still, the belt is a nice touch.

Biceps and Wrestling

Biceps and wrestling.  What a great combination.  And it's hard to find better examples of this than Ohio Valley Wrestling studs Rob Terry and Jessie Godderz.  It just goes to show that the bigger your biceps, the better it is to scoop your opponent up high and slam him down hard onto the mat.  And be sure to flex your biceps while you're at it.  Make sure the other dude knows who the real muscle stud is.
