Vegas Baby!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas . . . unless it's a wrestling match at Thunders Arena. If that's the case, then everybody gets to see what happens. For a year or so now TA has been producing a series of matches called Vegas Battles which take place in . . . you guessed it . . . Las Vegas. It looks like the boss man Mike at TA secures a penthouse room on the Strip and then sends in his boys for some hand to hand combat. A recent match features a "new" wrestler Karl, but if you've been following this blog for a while, Karl is not new to us. I've featured this Romanian muscle stud before, and am totally excited to see this dude now wrestling at Thunders Arena. Karl is looking awesome. You ever wonder what it's like to wrestle a 5' 11" and 240 pound bodybuilder? Just watch Scrappy wrestle Karl to find out. It's not like Scrappy is a scrawny dude, but he does give up some serious poundage to the Romanian wrestler. Karl has muscles, and he knows how to use them.
Is there any better way for a muscleboy to show off his power than with a series of over-the-knee backbreakers? I don't think so. Dude, that's got to hurt!

Backbreaker Sunday
The dudes at Rock Hard Wrestling, No Rules Wrestling, Thunders Arena, and other internet based wrestlers make wrestling look like a bunch of fun and games, all for our entertainment. But truth be told, like the above pictures show, sometimes wrestling can be hard, backbreaking work (ha ha, get it? backbreaking?). But then other times, as we see below, it's just pure unadulterated fun.

Backbreakers
Sometimes there's no need to say much about the wrestling photos I post to my blog. The action caught on camera just speaks for itself. Each and every one of these pictures is a study in awesomeness. I love the OTK backbreaker.

March Madness
You don't have to be a mad or angry person to be a wrestler, but these emotions can come in handy when you're engaged in a combat sport. Sometimes you have to call on these emotions in order to gain that extra strength you need to take control of your opponent and win the match. I'm not so sure why Rob Terry looks so mad all the time when he's about to bodyslam another dude. It's not like he doesn't have the muscles to crush almost any guy who steps in the ring with him. I guess he's just mean.

Muscle Wins
In my recent posts I've talked about how skinny dudes can be deceptively powerful when you face them in the ring or on the wrestling mat. But no matter how impressive a skinny guy is, this can only get him so far. There's not a lot he can do when he runs up against a real muscle dude, especially when that dude comes in the form of Karl the Muscle Boy. Here are some more photos from Karl's match against a guy he just simply calls the "skinny guy". There are several things to like about these pictures. In the first one you got Karl's big smile. As a wrestler you try to appear tough and mean, but sometimes when you find yourself in total control of another dude, you just can't help but be pleased with yourself. I love how Karl lifts the skinny guy up high. This is as close as I've seen the muscle boy come to pressing another dude over his head. Let's hope Karl gives us a show like that soon.

Karl the All American
Our friend Karl the Muscle Boy doesn't want his European accent to cause anyone to question his loyalties. In a recent video posted on his website, he proudly features the American flag as a backdrop to what appears to be a complete demolition of his opponent. The contrast in sizes in the first photo leaves little doubt from the beginning about what's going to occur during their wrestling match. I think what I like best about this bodyslam is how the skinny dude kicks his legs and flails his arms about after Karl scoops him up. But Karl being an official certified Muscle Boy has little trouble keeping the other dude securely in his grasp. For more info about the video, check out Karl's website.

The Face of Wrestling
There's a certain intoxication you get when you take control of another dude in a wrestling match with a power move like a bodyslam. It's brought on by the mixture of sweat, muscle, and testosterone and reaches a peak as you lift your opponent off the mat. The sensation is so overpowering that you can't keep it hidden. An expression comes across your face, a look of cockiness, arrogance, a sneer, a barely contained rage. Perhaps a combination of them all. It's the face every alpha male wrestler strives for.
