Support the Z-Man!

  

Many of you probably know already that Zack Vazquez, better know to us a the Z-Man, suffered serious injury in a car accident not long ago.  To support Zack and his family during this difficult time, Weekend Wrestling has posted a match of the Z-Man against Jack Worthington.  A few screen caps from that match are featured here.  All proceeds from sales of the match will go toward a recovery find set up in Zack's name, so go to WW and check it out!

 

Zack has been a prolific wrestler, performing at a multitude underground wrestling companies, including 88Wrestling.  This week's special deal at 88Wrestling is the Flex City match between the Z-Man and Tanner Hill, which I featured before in my blog.  This is really a fun match to watch, and 88Wrestling will be donating proceeds from its sale to Zack's recovery fund, too.  If you haven't seen the match yet, this is a great time to check it out!

Prince Adonis

Our favorite muscleboy wrestler Scrappy is a hot commodity in the world of underground internet wrestling.  He's now appearing in matches at Cole Cassidy's new production Weekend Wrestling.  When I first posted about WW a couple months back, I made a side comment about hoping one day to see a new company with a fresh, new batch of wrestlers.  But Scrappy is not new to the scene, and I'm not complaining.  I'm excited that Weekend Wrestling gives him another venue to strut his stuff.  At WW, Scrappy carries the title of Prince Adonis.  His character is smug and arrogant.  Many times those are the types of wrestlers who I love to see get their cocky asses handed to them in the ring.  But not so with Scrappy.  The Prince Adonis character suits him well.  When you're built like Scrappy, bodyslam like Scrappy, and break backs like Scrappy, you can be smug and arrogant all you want, and I'll be your biggest fan.

Weekend Wrestling

Whoa, what's this?! Another new underground wrestling company?  This weekend I stumbled across a new site called Weekend Wrestling.  Three matches have just been released, and weekly updates with new matches and galleries are promised.  If I understand right, Cole Cassidy is the man running the show here.  Featured wrestlers so far in addition to Cole include mostly familiar faces, such as the Z-Man, Max Ryder, and Zach Reno.  You know, while it would be nice to see a brand new wrestling company with a completely fresh batch of wrestlers, I can't gripe at all if Weekend Wrestling gives some of our favorite guys another venue in which they can show off their stuff.  There must be a law out there somewhere that says Z-Man has to be on the roster of any new underground wrestling company, and I'm not complaining.  This stud shows no sign of slowing down!
