Coming to America

Yikes!  Sorry dudes for not posting much lately.  So here's a little something to keep you entertained.  It's our favorite French wrestler Tristan Archer.  Or is it?  After spending several years working the rings across the Atlantic, slamming hapless Euro trash opponents about, it looks like the French Revolution is coming to America where he will appear under the name Clement Petiot.  Well, the folks at WWE can call him whatever they want, but he'll always be Tristan Archer to me.  I like this dude because he projects a clean-cut, all around good-guy persona, but still isn't afraid to mix in a little bad boy attitude now and then.

Welcome to the USA, Tristan (or Clement)!  Let's hope we get to see a lot more of you in action now.

From Boy to Man

It was about two years ago when I did my first post featuring Tristan Archer.  Maybe I'm imagining things, but it looks to me that Tristan has matured a lot over the past couple of years, looking less boy-like and more of  a man.  He's meaner and leaner, cockier, and he's even gorilla pressing other wrestlers as he revels in his full manhood.  Very nice.  I like this more mature version of Tristan Archer.

Euro Bash

 

Here's Tristan Archer getting his slam on during a recent match at a promotion in Holland called Pro Wrestling Showdown.  He's wrestling against Dutch wrestler Sean Lucas, and it looks like Lucas gets in some good moves himself.  I hope this match gets posted to You Tube at some point because I'd like to see how these two dudes take each other on.

Wrestling Hijinx

You can check out Tristan Archer wrestling on Youtube in a match against PV Red.  Tristan looks good for much of the match, but in the end, PV Red uses a dirty move to get the win.  Predictably, the ref doesn't see the illegal act.  I think it's safe to say that the NFL replacement officials all received their initial training in the pro wrestling ring.

Savor the Moment

In yesterday's post I noted many of the good qualities of Tristan Archer's bodyslams, and he demonstrates them for us again above.  A nice, deep crotch hold . . . check.  Hoisting his opponent up high for all to see . . . check.  Grabbing a handful of the other dude's ass . . . check.  These things make his bodyslams so awesome.  There's also the savor factor which I didn't really go into yesterday, but luckily in response to my last post someone else pointed it out.  When I get the chance to scoop another dude up, I like to hold him up for a few moments because I want to savor the moment.  I suspect that's a reason why Tristan Archer does the same.  And there are two things to savor.  First is my masculinity, my strength, my skill that allows me to control another wrestler like this.  Second is knowing that my opponent knows, at least for that moment, that his body is completely at my mercy.  A big thanks to Tristan Archer for his demonstrations on how to do an awesome bodyslam.  We hope that Tristan pays us another visit real soon.

Tristan Knows

Tristan Archer is probably my favorite wrestler in France.  I decided to check out what he's been up to lately, and I came across two matches on Youtube, which you can check out here and here if you want to see him in action.  Watching these matches reminded me why I like Tristan so much.  He knows how to do a bodyslam right.  Many times a wrestler will scoop another dude up and immediately slam him back down.  It's really over before the other guy knows what's going on.  And what's the good of that?  If you're thoughtful about the bodyslam, you're opponent will feel dominated and humiliated in the process.  Tristan understands this.  When he bodyslams another dude, he reaches in for a deep and secure crotch hold.  You really want your opponent know what kind of hold you got him by.  Tristan lifts his dudes up high and holds them there for several seconds.  You want your opponent to realize everyone is looking at him being manhandled.  Tristan's hand always grabs his opponent's butt and squeezes some ass.  The other dude knows he's Tristan's bitch at that moment and there's nothing he can do about it.  Only when you have properly humiliated your opponent is it time to slam him down.  Many thanks to Tristan Archer for showing us how it's done.

French Imports

Pro wrestling seems to be a popular spectacle in France, but in order for their shows to achieve the masculine, muscle on muscle action that is the sport of wrestling, it looks like France has to import stud wrestlers from other countries. The first dude above is El Matador, a wrestler from Spain, and he's followed by Ousboy Wrestler, who comes from Dakar, Senegal. And of course the last guy is Canadian stud Tristan Archer. You can see why these dudes like to come to France, where they can dominate their cheese eating, wine swilling opponents with multiple bodyslams and other power moves. And congratulations to fan favorite Tristan Archer, who recently won the FPWO championship belt. (Note to any Frenchman who may come across this blog: rather than be offended, just see this as my poor attempt at humor).

More Tristan Archer

I don't know why I've been looking at European wrestling so much lately. Maybe because it's kind of hard to ignore guys like wrestling studs Tristan Archer and Mexx. Here's one more bodyslam tribute to Tristan Archer as he shows how to deliver a musclebound, North American-style beatdown on France. I wonder what it would take to get Archer and Mexx into the ring for a wrestling match. I think I'd fly over to Europe just to see that. My guess is that the bigger Mexx would win, but it's a tough call. Any thoughts?

Tristan Archer

Tristan Archer is a muscle stud from Calgary who wrestles for promotions in France. Here he is delivering a good looking bodyslam on his opponent Tony Cecaldi, who Archer goes on to defeat. I like to think that Archer is over in France because the French have to import corn fed muscle jocks from North America to appear in their wrestling competitions (maybe I should audition). Anyway, Archer looks pretty good in a wrestling ring. I especially like the second photo, which clearly shows Archer squeezing Cecaldi's ass, just like all good wrestlers do during a bodyslam.
