Fade

Fade is a wrestler featured in several CyberFights matches. At six feet, he's perhaps of average height among a stable of tall wrestlers like Kurt Sterling and Robert Anthony. But on that six foot frame he packs on 220 pounds of muscle. This allows him to easily scoop up and slam many opponents. Fade's bodyslamming technique is notable. He gets his arm in square and deep through his opponent's crotch (the third photo shows this well). His muscles let him hoist his opponents up pretty high. And I like how he places his hand on his opponent's butt. There's really no better way to get to know your opponent in wrestling than the slide your arm through his crotch and squeeze his butt. When you hold him up off the ground like this, he's really in no position to complain about it.

Kyle O'Reilly

Kyle O'Reilly is a young Canadian wrestler who, at least early in his career, appeared in several Cyberfights matches. The contrast between this little dude and his bigger opponents is often striking. He looks almost infantile compared to the likes of muscled and mature wrestlers Johnny Handsome, Fade, and Nelson Creed, among others. And the comical and exaggerated look of fear on O'Reilly's face every time he's picked up for a slam just makes him look even more juvenile, like he's crying out "Jeepers, Mr. Fade, please don't hurt me!" At first it's funny to see, but after a while you just want to yell at him, "Hey kid, go back to your sand box and let the big boys play."

Fear Factor

I get a laugh sometimes when I see pics of bodyslams, and the guy being carried around has a look of abject terror on his face, or at least one of extreme discomfort. I mean, the guy in the third picture looks like he's auditioning for a hemorrhoid commercial. C'mon guys, why the fear? Think of when you were a little kid and being taken for an airplane spin by a bigger brother or someone. If someone like Scotty Mac were carrying me around like this, I'd sure have a smile on my face. This is the highlight of the bodyslam because things aren't going to get any better when the slam comes. Only the dude in the last picture has the right attitude. Enjoy the ride while you can, my friend. Enjoy the ride. (Note: Top photo from Cyberfights, second and fifth from BGEast, and the fourth from Thunders Arena. All sites have great wrestling action. Anyone know where the third photo comes from?)

Own That Dude

There are many things I like about the bodyslam, but one of the best parts for me is the very beginning when I reach in between my opponent's legs to grab him. There's just something about sliding my arm in through his crotch to secure a deep and tight hold. If he's got a muscular butt, I make sure to grasp it. Just before I begin lifting him up there's that moment where I like to clench my hold of his body and pull him tightly into my chest. Usually I pause a second so he can feel my arm in his crotch and my hand squeezing his butt. I know I'm gripping him just right if he lets out a little gasp. It's that moment when I say to myself I own this dude.

Scotty Mac

Scotty Mac is an indy pro wrestler who appears a lot on Cyber Fights videos. Compared to other pro wrestlers, he looks kind of small in stature, but he's powerfully built and doesn't back down in a match. It's especially fun to watch him scoop up a much bigger opponent and bodyslam him hard onto the ground.
