Gorilla Press Glory
I know a lot of guys who follow this blog are fans of the gorilla press. If you haven't come across it yet, you should check out this Youtube channel which has several compilations of the king of all pro wrestling moves. These screen caps are just a few of the hundreds of gorilla presses you will see in these videos. Many of the wrestlers will be well known to you, like Chris Masters in the second pic, Mark Angel in the third, and Mexxberg in the fourth, but the guy who has put these compilations together has gone far and wide to locate gorilla presses performed by wrestlers from even the most remote federations. He's done the hard work, so all you have to do is just sit back and enjoy. I think the last picture in the set above is my favorite. It's hard to beat a muscleboy on muscleboy gorilla press.

Chris Masters
Here is Chris Masters doing what Chris Masters does best. He came onto the WWE scene just about the time I was losing interest in WWE, so I never really followed his career that much. I understand from Bruno's blog that he's been released from WWE, but he still continues to wrestle for indy promotions. At 6'4" and 265 pounds, Masters looks pretty impressive. I wonder if we can get him in the ring against Rob Terry.
Now, time to go out and celebrate the Tigers winning the pennant.

Bigger Is Better
You remember me back in high school. I'm the muscle jock you see walking down the hallway. The wrestler. You try to catch a glimpse of me in the lockerroom shower. My thick chest, broad shoulders, tree trunk thighs. So different from you. I bleed. I sweat. I put in hours of practice. My sport is for the physically superior and elite. Timid and weak are your mind and body, so you just sit on the sideline and watch. You are drawn to me, while simultaneously afraid of me. You like to think you can take me, be the David against the Goliath. But that's just your fantasy world. I'm bigger, and I'm better. Trust me. You don't want to learn the hard way.

Gorilla Press

The ultimate of bodyslams has to be the gorilla press (aka military press and overhead press). The strength, the power, the complete domination when a muscleman wrestler hoists his opponent fully over his head. It's an impressive sight. It's one of the best gifts pro wrestling has given to the wrestling world.
