Kota Ibushi
Japanese wrestler Kota Ibushi comes in at a strapping 5'11" and 190 pounds. Very good stats for a wrestler, in my opinion. In the past he's appeared at Ring Of Honor, but his current home is Dramatic Dream Team (DDT) wrestling in Japan. DDT has several videos on YouTube that are worth checking out. They have put on shows in some creative locations outside of a ring, including an apartment complex, a camp ground, and a parking lot. I like the originality of it. They think outside the box (or squared circle).

Leon Shah
It's time for another Beefcake Bodyslam post. Regularly I like to check out what Bruno is posting over at his Beefcakes of Wrestling blog, and lately he's been giving a lot of attention to British wrestler Leon Shah. Here are some photos of Shah in action during a match against the UK Kid, and it looks like Shah can't get enough of bodyslamming his opponent. To see more pictures of Shah in action, be sure to check out all that Bruno has to offer.

Classic Tak
At the end of my last post I noted that it was a new year but that the old classics never get old. A classic I never tire of seeing is Tak being tossed around at Thunders Arena by some big muscle guy, and that's just what TA gives us in a recent match. This time the muscle dude is a new wrestler known as Mutant. Thanks for getting 2014 off to a good start, Tak!

New Year
It being a new year and all, I wasn't so sure about featuring Japanese wrestler Zeus after having posted not so long ago several photos of him dominating lesser mortals by pressing them with ease over his head. But looking at the pictures now, I have no regrets. You got a lean, muscled up wrestler who takes great pleasure in grabbing another dude by the nuts and lifting him up high in the air. It's the ultimate form of male on male humiliation. It's a new year, but the classics never get old.

Wrestler of the Year 2013
The winner of the coveted Wrestler of the Year Award for 2013 is none other than Brodie Fisher of Rock Hard Wrestling! Actually, I didn't put much thought into this because I came across this photos of Brodie in action against Luke Harrison and happen to be posting them at the end of the year. Although the honor I've given him is somewhat random, Brodie really executes a good looking bodyslam here, one of the best I've seen all year. And I have been impressed with his other wrestling matches this year, so I'd say he deserves the honor as much as anyone else. Let's hope Brodie continues to entertain us in 2014.

Feed the Beast
When we last saw Krush, he was taking lessons from Dave Calbrese on how to execute a bodyslam. Did Krush learn his lesson well? From the looks of his match against a dude named Brody, I'd say he did. This looks like a big versus little contest with Krush delivering a beat down. It's part of a series of matches called "Fresh Meat", and No Rules Wrestling uses the little guy Brody to feed the beast we know as Krush. I'm glad to see NRW is letting Krush show is heel side.

Random Slamness
Here's another random collection of bodyslam action, but it's not entirely random. Think of it as a tribute to all those indy wrestlers who may never make it to the ranks of WWE but continue go out there and put their bodies at risk in order to entertain the rest of us. The first two photos feature Jeff Cobb and Tonga, guys who wrestle out in California. I don't know the wrestlers in the third and fourth photos. The fifth dude, of course, is Scotty Mac, who keeps going strong after all these years, and the final dude is muscle man Mike Petersen from Australia.
